Fashion Design
Fashion Techniques and Design and Fashion Management graduates demonstrate expert technical skills in industry positions ranging from pattern making to entry level fashion design. Graduates also have the opportunity to do post-diploma work in Costume Studies.
The Fashion Design program begins with learning the basics through academic study and hands-on instruction. You'll learn by doing. In addition to a broad selection of liberal arts courses, you'll study all facets of fashion design.
The Fashion Design program helps new designers acquire the necessary skills to develop their personal style. Students also become familiar with the business and marketing side of the apparel industry.
And because students come from around the globe -- from the USA, Europe, South America, Africa, the Far East, and the Caribbean -- there is an endless supply of inspiration, color, and dynamism; fundamental to an exciting and productive artistic education.
- Fashion Business Industry - Two-Year Diploma
Graduates demonstrate technical skills that cross all industry positions as well as the knowledge necessary to navigate the management side of the fashion industry or alternately to be ready to begin their own small business. Qualifying graduates may continue their studies in the International Fashion Management program. Through various courses students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basic technical and design components of fashion with a greater focus on managing fashion at the "small" business level. - Costume Studies - One-Year Post-Diploma
This program focuses on the development of design techniques that puts students on the path as an aspiring costume designer. Studies will integrate an appreciation for demands of the director and actor with strong course work and design and construction for theatrical and other performing arts. - International Fashion Management - One-Year Post-Diploma
This program provides students with the knowledge to work in the fashion industry in the global environment. World trade issues, import/export practices and business structures that affect and are affected by a firm's global participation are reviewed.
